Orthoceras

The orthoceras fossils mainly come from the atlas mountains, Morocco.
They are dated to the silurian age (+400 million years old).
Being a cephalopod, orthoceras was similar to the modern
squid except orthoceras had a straight or slightly curved shell.
Another way to describe the orthoceras would be a nautilus with a straight,
pointed shell.
